The BAC Mono is a street legal single-seater, lightweight sports car manufactured by Briggs Automotive Company. It is powered by a naturally aspirated 2.3L inline-four Ford "Duratec" engine tuned and supplied by Cosworth.
The Mono is built using a carbon fiber foam sandwich composite over a tubular steel chassis with FIA compliant safety features and weighs 614 kg (1354 lbs). Its rose-jointed, aero-profiled pushrod suspension features adjustable dampers which can be altered based on driving on either the road or track. Drivers are secured by a full six-point racing harness and a locker in the front to store a helmet and the detachable steering wheel when parked.
